MESSMER PACKER S008

|
RAAA Reg. #: 1109534
Packer is a
new young sire in our line up.
His numbers are extremely well balanced and he brings a new pedigree
into the Green Mountain herd. He
is a high volume bull with lots of muscling that he passes on to his
calves. The bulls on test are
extremely thick with good depth and a nice broad top. Look for Packer sons to follow in
their sire's footsteps with good carcass values.

GMRA CITADEL 6109

|
RAAA Reg. #: 1111630
Citadel was ABS Global's pick of
our 2007 bull crop here at Green Mountain. A large birth to yearling spread combined with the power
of Citadel's dam made him a very attractive package. Citadel has proved to be a bona fide
heifer bull, with problem free calving and a nice, low average birth weight.
The 8 Citadel sons in this offering posted the lowest average birthweight of
any sire we used. These same
calves took that moderate birth weight and turned in impressive weaning and
yearling numbers. We are very
impressed with his first set of daughters in production and are anxious to
see how they do.

VGW Northern Canyon 5109

|
RAAA Reg. #: 1081768
We purchased Northern Canyon
as one of the top sellers at Westphal's 2007 sale. His pedigree showcased sires that were new to our breeding
program and provided an excellent source of new genetics. Northern Canyon is proving to be an
outstanding herd sire. He has
moved up the ranks from being a clean up bull to a full blown AI sire. He promotes calving ease while
keeping outstanding growth and performance in his calves. He is extremely thick with great
capacity, excellent muscling and an outstanding rear quarter, which he passes
on to his progeny.

A well-proven sire that offers
calving ease without sacrificing good depth and muscling. Hoss is out of a maternal sister to
Major League and Grand Canyon.
His daughters in production are doing an outstanding job, proving the
strength of his maternal numbers and pedigree. He is also the sire of the
popular Gridmaster bull, coming out of the Pieper program. Look for the Hoss sons to provide you
with calving ease, above average marbling, and eye appeal. They have good depth, a broad top,

GMRA LARAMIE 5110

|
RAAA Reg. #: 1039249
Laramie was
our high selling bull in our 2006 sale, selling to ABS. His calves are
attracting lots of attention. The birth weights are moderate and the
calves' growth has been explosive. The Laramie calves show thick muscling
with excellent fleshing ability. This offering's Laramie sons had the
highest average marbling ratio and tied for the highest average REA ratio of
any sire group. A quick glance
at his pedigree will show the tremendous Lakota cow family, which is one of
the foundations of the Green Mountain Red Angus herd. The daughters in production are doing
extremely well. In fact, one of
the top bulls in this year's offering is out of a Laramie daughter.

GMRA EBV 266

|
RAAA Reg. #: 372528
GMRA EBV 266 takes us back to
some of our old school genetics.
Way back in 1993 he was the high selling bull at Midland Bull Test,
selling to Westphal Red Angus.
Over the years we have had numerous daughters in production that were
absolutely some of the best females we have ever raised. In fact, his daughters are the main
reason we decided to bring him out of retirement. We found a few straws of semen just hanging around in the
AI tank and decided to put them to use.
266 daughters have outstanding udders and teats, breed back well, and
showcase all of the eye appeal, muscling and depth of 266 himself. We look forward to seeing some of his
daughters back in the herd.

BROWN COMMITMENT S7206

|
RAAA Reg. #: 1120008
We added Commitment to our sire
line-up to introduce new genetics.
He offers an awesome combination of calving ease, growth, carcass and
stayability. He ranks in the top
1% for marbling and his calves in this offering turned in the 2nd
highest marbling ratio of any sire group. Commitment is a thick made, high volumed bull that passes
these traits on to his progeny.
Look for his calves to show tremendous muscling.

LJC MISSION STATEMENT P27

|
RAAA Reg. #: 960383
It's not every day you can find a sire
that is at the breed average for birth weight, yet gives you the power of a
weaning EPD in the top 26% and a yearling EPD in the top 5%. Even more amazing is that such a high
growth bull provides you with outstanding carcass potential – a marbling
EPD in the top 6% and ribeye area in the top 1% of the breed! His sons in this offering are the #2
high weaning and yearling groups and
tied for the #1 top ribeye area.
We have put this outstanding combination to good use, supplying our
bull offering with several outstanding sons. These calves offer excellent eye appeal and conformation.

LAUBACH EXPEDITION 643

|
RAAA Reg. #: 1092842
We purchased Expedition in 2006 as the high selling bull at
NILE. He has proven to be one of
the most powerful bulls in our herd sire line-up, with an extremely powerful
set of EPDs. His calves are
packed with performance and their growth just never slows down. His 2009 calf crop turned in the
highest weaning and yearling ratios of any sire, proving the validity of a
weaning EPD in the top 4% and a yearling EPD in the top 1% of the breed. The bulls in the feedlot turned in
the 3rd highest average marbling ratio and tied for the highest
REA ratio of all sire groups. If
you are looking to add pounds to your calves at weaning Expedition sons would
be an excellent choice.

DKK MAJESTIC R10

|
RAAA Reg. #: 1025665
Majestic was our pick of the bulls at Midland Bull Test in the
spring of 2006. Most of the
sires on the bottom side of Majestic's pedigree were totally new to our
breeding program, however these bulls are well known and used heavily in the
breed and provided exciting new genetics to our program. The birth weights on his calves are
quite moderate and they grow out long with excellent eye appeal and a strong
muscle pattern.
