Hust Cattle Co. purchased this past Fort Worth Stock Show Grand Champion bull from Gary Peacock, Covington, TX in 2004. He is one of the soundest, best looking mature bulls you will ever lay your eyes on. With a moderate frame of 5.6 his unique combination of low birth, growth, milk and fleshing ability has made him a favorite in the Hust Cattle Co program. Royal Gorge A389M has some powerful stats with a birth weight of 68 lbs. weaning weight 742 ratio of 115, yearling weight of 1219 ratio of 114. His sons are masculine and his daughters are feminine - all with style and eye appeal. Across the board, Royal Gorge A389M is one of the most complete bulls in the Red Angus breed today "No extremes".   The powerful PAR Eclipse J1578 with an Mppa of 104.3 backs him. Royal Gorge A389M comes in from the breeding pasture looking like his picture. Even though his ME does not reflect his fleshing ability or low maintenance, he is the easiest fleshing bull ever to set foot on the Hust Cattle Co farm.    Due to the need for better-feed efficient and lower maintenance type cattle Royal Gorge A389M's progeny is on target for today's cattle industry. His sire, the $50,000.00 LCHMN Grand Canyon 1244G, a former Denver Grand Champion has paved his way to Red Angus greatness. His progeny are free moving, capacious, and very sound. Royal Gorge A389M has a lot of the same traits to offer the Red Angus industry. Owned with Gary Peacock, TX, and Rafter H Ranch IA.   Semen Available

HUST Chief Sequoya R336 has all the makings of a great bull, including the ability to sire below average birth with performance, eye appeal, and carcass with low maintenance values. He is clean fronted and attractive with a big square hip and loads of muscle composition. Chief Sequoya has a very balanced set of EPD that ranks him in the top 1% CED, 4% BW, 10% WW, 8% YW, 6% TM, 4% STAY, 10% REA. He was used on heifers with all calves born unassisted. Most all his calves were in the 50-60 pound weight range. A great indication of when a sire is really working and producing consistent progeny is when his daughters turn out to be the spitting images of his dam. His daughters and sons are stylish with growth they have the square boxy shape his dam had when Larry and I found her in one of the pens at the Leachman Cattle Co. "The Last Roundup Sale" 2003. This is a star-studded pedigree that is stacked both paternally and maternally.    His dam, LCC Rebella Na 123 (896691), is one of the top females in the Hust Cattle Co program. She posts an Mppa of 114.3 all of her calves have been outstanding. I would not harbor to say she is a "great female".    Na 123 scanned with a 5.57 IMF, with a REA of 11.53 and with FAT of 0.17.   Genetically few can match her EPD combination for CED, WW, YW, MILK, TM, HPG, and STAY all in the top 1% to 8% in the breed.    Her grandam being none other than KRN REBA'S ROBIN dam of the $50,000. LCC Grand Canyon 1244G and the $180,000. LCC Major League. She is one of the highest revenue-earning female in the Red Angus breed as of today.    When you read this pedigree, it stacks some of the highest Mppa females in the breed. Going back five generations top and bottom with and average of 107.2 Mppa.    His sire, CCF Sequoya 0361 is moderate frame, low maintenance, thick made, with a nice correct conformation and a super gentle disposition. He sold as Lot #1 in the 2004 Leachman Cattle Barons Bull Sale ½ interest sold for $12,500.00 to the Chatburn Ranch ID.   CCF Sequoya 0361 has a BW Ratio of 106, WW Ratio of 124, an YW Ratio 117 with REA Scan of 15.18. His Dam, CCF Queen Jewel 904 03, is the high seller from the Chicken Creek Dispersal in 2004. She was a high performance, maternal milking machine with a 109.6 Mppa. One half interest in HUST Chief
