First Monday and Every Monday is named after an Alliance for Justice campaign, called First Monday, which seeks to encourage activism on the first monday of every October - the first day the Supreme Court goes into session. The name of our list indicates that we hope to take action every monday of the year, which is why we electronically distribute an Action Alert, Editorial, News Item or Update to keep IPGV members and friends actively involved in the gun violence prevention movement. |
