FAQ
Is Arnica safe?
Homeopathic arnica is very safe. While the plant arnica is toxic, homeopathic arnica is made through a series of dilutions and succussions, leaving few molecules of the plant in the remedy, thereby ridding the remedy of the toxic effects of the plant and leaving only its healing quality.
The homeopathic LM dose is designed for repetitive use without side effects. It is safe and gentle.
Is it safe to take Arnica Pain Relief along with other natural remedies or allopathic drugs?
Yes, it is safe. Arnica Pain Relief will not adversely affect other medications and it is not adversely affected by other medicines.
Is the alcohol content safe?
Yes, unless your pet is allergic to alcohol. Alcohol is used because it maximizes efficacy, allows for quicker absorption into the body and prevents contamination of the remedy. We use organic non-GMO alcohol made from corn.
Should I expect any negative side effects when giving Arnica Pain Relief to my pet?
No your pet should not experience negative side effects. Arnica Pain Relief is a very safe and gentle remedy.
Is it hard to give it to pets.?
No it is very easy. Unlike pharmaceutical drugs, homeopathic remedies have very little taste to them, so pets usually take them without a struggle. If your pet is sensitive or very small, mixing it in water will help, and most likely they will not notice it is a remedy.
How much water should I mix it in?
For dogs, cats and horses, try first to give the remedy directly in the mouth as it is most effective this way. If your pet will not take it then mix it with a teaspoon of water.
For birds, rabbits, ferrets, and rodents, mix it with the drinking water, making sure to change the water every time you want to add a new dose.
Do I need to make sure my pet swallows the medication and should I put it in the back of the throat?
NO. Homeopathic medications are absorbed through the oral mucosa (the lining of the inside of the mouth) so your pet doesn't need to swallow. In fact, giving it slowly through a few seconds guaranties maximum contact time of the remedy with the oral mucosa, increasing its effectiveness.
Why do we have to shake it twice before giving the medication?
According to the homeopathic principles shaking the medication increases the strength of the medication slightly from one dose to the next.
What should I do if my pet continues to be in pain after receiving the medication?
Pain can be a sign of serious illnesses, Arnica Pain Relief is designed to help your pet manage minor pain, so if pain persists, please contact your veterinarian. Usually your pet should feel more comfortable 5-20 minutes after taking Arnica Pain Relief, and it can be repeated 4 times per day if necessary. If your pet does not seem to relax and become more comfortable within this time period, you should consult with your veterinarian. Again, pain can be a sign of serious illness.
